These itineraries are single day drives within one of the five major regions of Tasmania. Though intended as single day drives, they can be extended to any duration, depending on your interests and any activities you wish to pursue. These are designed to help travellers plan either a drive around the whole of Tasmania, or to explore a particular region of the state in greater detail. The durations given for each drive indicate the minimum time recommended to complete the journey. Recommended detours to places of interest off the main route are included, and time must be added to allow visits to these location.
